D1 (Mini Bus)

For drivers looking to upgrade their car licence to enable them to drive a Class D1 (mini bus) for hire and reward

If you had entitlement to drive cars prior to 1 January 1997 you can drive a mini bus provided you are 21 or over and the mini bus has a maximum of 17 seats including the driver seat. The vehicle must not be used for hire or reward

The driver training course will include:
      On the road driver training with a DSA registered instructor
      Manoeuvring exercises
      Coupling and Uncoupling (D1+E - Mini bus + trailer)

Eligible candidates must be:
      Aged 21+
      Fully licenced to drive a car (Class B)
      Have passed a theory and hazard perception test
      Passed medical
      Physically fit

Your DSA test will be booked to take place on the last day of your training course. This will take place at Gloucester LGV test centre
